One year ago today we buried my first wife, Beth. The teaching of Scripture is that the moment she died, because she was a Christian, her soul was perfected with every trace of remaining sin removed.
Matthew 1:21 teaches that Jesus came to "save His people from their sins" and when they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, they are saved regarding the penalty of their sin. However, when His people die and enter immediately into the presence of God, they are saved from the presence of any sin.
The day will come when I will join my Savior in Heaven, where there is no sickness, sorrow or SIN of any kind!!
