From My Wife, Mercedes: "What's At Stake in This Election"

 Our way of life is on the table this election. Our financial well being is up for grabs, we're being censured already, the media is a propaganda machine, and our freedom hangs in peril. We are already getting a taste of life under one party rule, just like China. They want us to live like they do in China. The people in China have no power, no vote, and independent thought is not allowed. Religion is not allowed, as is evident by their persecution of Muslims and Christians. All people live in fear of the government. They aren't free and the elite families stay in power forever while the people can't do anything about it. The people don't even have guns. There aren't enough good paying jobs, either. Don't be arrogant, it can happen here and if we vote the wrong way, it will happen here. Not all at once but it will happen quicker than you think. We, the people, will lose, and lose big, while the elite prosper. They will do whatever they want while telling us that we can't do what they do. They will have whatever they want while telling us what we are allowed have, which will be less than what they have. They will change the laws, even burn The Constitution in order to ensure that we will not rise up or prosper. They will keep their boots on our necks. They will sensor our phone calls, emails, and sites that we access on the internet, blocking some, just like they do in China. This is what the power hungry in the United States want. They are already teaching our children to hate and villify ALL religions in this country especially Christianity. It is becoming acceptable, almost desirable to hate the religious, discriminate against them, and verbally abuse them. If you treated a gay person this way you'd be called homophobic, a bigot, and afraid of the LGBTQ community. You'd be cursed and "cancelled". A mob may even destroy your property with impunity. The double standard is amazing. Teaching our children and grandchildren to hate us "older" folk is most likely next on the agenda.

Those that lust for power want to crush our spirits, rewrite our history and convince us that they can take better care of us than we can ourselves in order to scam us into accepting and welcoming Communist, Marxist rule before we know the real deal. (Read up on the history of the USSR, for you readers out there)

Think before you vote. Hating a person or smugly dismissing the other is not worth sacrificing our freedom. (You have the life that you have BECAUSE of the freedom afforded by our country, not in spite of it) Look at the issues. Limit tv news. Be careful what print media you read. Watch the speeches and debates with a notepad and use your own mind to choose who YOU think is best based on the words that come out of their own mouths. The information and the truth are often revealed there. DON'T rely on your feelings. Don't try to fit into a crowd or group. Don't let the media make up your mind. Verify what is fake news and what is not. Reject catchy phrases or slogans. Search to expose and debunk the lies. Examine opposing views. Remember your kids and grandkids and what United States you want them to live in.

You have a right to your point of view and I have the right to have a different point of view. We can talk and understand each

other while remaining family and friends in spite of our differences. THAT is what makes America great. Vote to protect that, if you need a cause. Just don't be driven by hate. Be a part of the process. THINK! VOTE!!
