"Two MORE Ways (Getting COVID Might Help President Trump's Re-Election)"

 

On Friday, I blogged regarding "Five Ways Getting COVID Might Help President Trump's Re-Election." Over the weekend, since he's been taken to Walter Reed, I've thought of two MORE possible ways. Here they are, but first this reminder....

As I said Friday, I DO NOT PRETEND TO KNOW HOW THIS IS GOING TO SHAKE OUT, BUT I DO KNOW THAT GOD'S WILL WILL BE DONE AND I KNOW THAT MANY THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE GATHERED IN WASHINGTON LAST WEEKEND TO PRAY FOR OUR NATION.  I, of course, claim NO DIRECT REVELATION FROM GOD as to what the future holds.

That being said, here are two MORE ways to add to those first five from Friday....

6.) Trump can now claim something Biden cannot...FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE tangling with the Virus. His dedication to continue WORKING while at Walter Reed is AMAZING considering he's an extremely wealthy man in his 70s who doesn't need ANY of this re-election stuff. If he recovers sufficiently to DEBATE or even CAMPAIGN again before the election, he'll be an inspiring figure like REAGAN, who survived an assassination attempt. He can point to HIMSELF as an example and say "Hey, we DON'T have to live in terror of this Virus like my opponent (who stupidly wants to make mask-wearing MANDATORY outdoors, if elected). This Virus is TREATABLE and BEATABLE." Biden can't replicate this unless HE gets COVID and recovers. It's the difference between a military leader who's fought in a war and won (Trump) leading our fight against COVID, and a "draft-dodger" (Biden). 

7.) Because Trump has contracted COVID, Biden has at least PLEDGED to cut out his negative advertising.  (Whether he will keep that pledge is another story because, unlike Trump, 90% of HIS ads ARE negative...he has no positive accomplishments to run on like the President does.) Here's Biden's twofold dilemma....1.) If he DOESN'T remove the ads, he's failed to keep his pledge which is NEVER good optics for ANY politician and 2.) HE has pledged to remove HIS ads but TRUMP is free to keep HIS going (unless, of course, the Liberal Mainstream Media censors them, Lol!!) Advantage: Trump because it's better to BE censored than to have to censor YOURSELF (which is what Biden has pledged to do).
