Below are the ten Hall of Famers who've died in the last 10 months AND a letter I sent to the NY Post about it all, today....
Editor,
So the great Hank Aaron is the tenth Hall-of-Famer to die in the last ten months. This tragic, unprecedented streak began with Al Kaline's death in April of 2020. Has anyone ever considered the connection between COVID lockdowns and these unprecedented losses? Elderly Hall of Famers very often, when able, keep their spirits up by attending events; face-to-face, live interacting with admirers; signing autographs and reliving glory days. All of that instantly went away during the lockdowns, and who's to say it didn't decrease the will to live in at least some of them?
Beyond all of that, Lockdowns also mean that abused children are stuck at home more, wives who are assaulted get beaten more, and so on. I wish our politicians would consider things like this more when they sequester us for our "safety." Maybe the passing of ten Hall of Famers in ten months will make them think, but probably not.

Finally, the new TRUMP COIN that I ordered today....can't wait to get it!!
