"I Stand With Rand...Expose The Whistleblower"

In the Q & A phase of Trump's Impeachment Trial yesterday, Chief Justice John Roberts blocked a question about the ID of the Whistleblower who STARTED this whole fiasco.  The question was from Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky and of the DOZENS of questions that were asked over a two day period, it's the ONLY one that the Chief Justice, presiding over the trial, declined to entertain.  Check it out...

WHY isn't the name of the Whistleblower relevant, so that we can examine his or her motivations, credibility, associations?? Is Roberts protecting ADAM SCHIFF, the House Impeachment Manager who allegedly knows the Whistleblower WELL (though he's testified that he doesn't)??

I've never liked Rand Paul, and I never thought I'd say this, but I STAND WITH RAND...at least on THIS issue.

As for Roberts, I have not trusted HIM since Barack Obama first got inaugurated, in January 2009. Here's what I wrote on Facebook earlier this morning...

I haven't trusted this guy since Obama's first Inauguration. Remember how Roberts AND Obama flubbed the simple, 35 word Oath of Office in the public ceremony?? That meant that the Oath....the one that COUNTED....had to be retaken, and that was done privately, in the White House basement, with only two witnesses. One of the witnesses said Obama "couldn't find a Bible to put his hand on." My theory is that, in that private ceremony....the one that COUNTED from a legal standpoint....Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in by Roberts with his hand on a copy of the QURAN.

And when SCALIA died mysteriously and ROBERTS was now Chief Justice, it made me even MORE suspicious of Roberts. What Roberts did YESTERDAY didn't lessen my suspicions one bit!!

I believe that Rand Paul EXPOSED Roberts, once and for all, as being the traitor that he is and I pray that when the Senate votes on whether to call WITNESSES later today, I pray it's not a 50-50 split in the vote.  By my understanding, you see, that makes ROBERTS the tiebreaking vote and I believe this traitor WOULD vote for witnesses that the DEMOCRATS want (which would do nothing but prolong the Trial even though the OUTCOME is CERTAIN, Trump WILL be acquitted.)

On the other hand, I also believe Roberts WOULD block the witnesses the REPUBLICANS would want (Joe and Hunter Biden and.....the Whistleblower.) Let's pray that the vote is NOT 50-50!!

And even if the Whistleblower is never exposed, I STAND WITH RAND for at least TRYING.

He DID expose ROBERTS for what he is, at least.

"Add Reagan (Feb. 6th) in to 'President's Day' "

About ten years ago I published an online magazine, with the help of several like-minded friends who were writers, web experts and so on. We called it "THE DAILY WAR" and it was basically a political piece from a CHRISTIAN perspective. We started it shortly after Obama was inaugurated for his first term and it lasted about a year...the "Daily War" was against HIM and his godless policies, you see.

Our audience was slowly building to 50k and many LOVED the monthly mag, but internal problems "sank" us. It was never the same after MY dad died and my computer person's dad ALSO died within a month of each other (late 2009.) What you see above is the "cover" of one of our last "issues."

And to be fair, many (Christians) did NOT love our mag...they were so hung up on approving everything Obama did to try to prove they weren't racists, they were SILENT about his sins and wanted US to be silent, ALSO.  There will always be those hampered by "the fear of man which brings a snare," what can I say?? At that point, after we folded, I got into writing and self-publishing books...I'm working hard now on #15.

Anyway, IN that issue from 2010, I made the case that "President's Day" should include RONALD REAGAN'S birthday (Feb. 6th) as well as LINCOLN'S (Feb. 12th) and WASHINGTON'S (Feb. 22nd.) I absolutely ADORED Reagan...if you read the upper left hand corner of the cover in the photo above, you can see the slogan we thought up!! And I still think Reagan's BD should be bundled with the others, even ten years later. Why?? Well I do NOT like "bundling" per se....I'm old enough to recall when Lincoln's birthday and Washington's were separated. I loved it because we got TWO days off from school in February (I hated school) and ONE of those, the 12th, was MY birthday!! But those days are long gone....now we celebrate Lincoln AND Washington together (and some even celebrate ALL Presidents, good AND bad ones, on "President's Day".) And let's face it, the way things are going Reagan will NEVER get his own, separate holiday unless he IS bundled in with Abe and George.

Add Ronald Wilson Reagan, our 40th President, in to President's Day, I say!! I said it THEN and I say it NOW, and I don't care if I'm the ONLY one who says it. He's right up there with the OTHER greats, in my opinion.

I am absolutely AMAZED at the turnout for President Trump, here in Liberal New Jersey yesterday.  175,000 tickets were requested....for a venue that only seats 7,400!! Some folks lined up TWO DAYS EARLY, in the middle of the winter, for a chance to get inside to this "first come, first served" event. It's mind-boggling to me. Cut, Paste, and check this link...

Meanwhile, a few hours to the south, in Washington D.C., Democrats are trying to REMOVE this popular President from office based on an illegal, bogus Impeachment.  Now they are trying to get JOHN BOLTON to come in as a witness, based on HEARSAY about a manuscript he wrote that hasn't even been published yet....gambling that his story won't change if and when he's under oath.

It won't work....as long as THE PEOPLE are behind Trump like this, we are HIS shield from them just like HE is for US.  Don't forget, the Senators who will vote on whether or not Trump gets removed will see these indications of support for the President in a BLUE state, ALSO!!  That should keep RINO Republicans from DEFECTING to side with the DEFECTIVE, when voting time comes.

* KOBE.  It’s a terrible tragedy that NBA star Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and 7 others died that way. It’s about 7am EST on Monday as I post this and just think…24 hours ago, on Sunday,  #24 was still alive, never dreaming that this accident would have happened.  When preachers tell you “Tomorrow is not guaranteed, get right with God TODAY” it’s reality, don’t think it’s an exaggeration!! Jesus said we "don’t know what a day will bring forth” and these deaths are a SAD example of that.

MSNBC is fond of calling Fox News, anyone who watches it, and ALL Trump supporters “Racists” without justification.  There would be no excuses or apologies allowed if one of “us” said this (and rightfully so.)  This is a “subliminal slip” that DOES show what’s in this lady’s racist heart…for "out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks,” Jesus said.  It can't come out of her mOUTh if it isn't in her HEaRt. 

So why does this announcer, as far as I know, STILL have a job this morning?? MSNBC is run by a bunch of shameless hypocrites, that’s why.

* TRUMP’S ITALIAN LAWYERS NEGATING UGLY STEREOTYPES OF ITALIAN MEN.  I read recently that “The Godfather” movies and the “Rocky” movies are the two series of movies viewed by most people worldwide.  If that’s true, then people around the world must have a stereotype that most Italian men are either gangsters or not-too-bright BOXERS.

However, two of Trump’s four lawyers in his Senate Impeachment trial, Pat Cipollone and Mike Purpura, are LAW-ABIDING MEN on the RIGHT side of the law, and they are absolutely BRILLIANT breakers of this stereotype.  The Trial resumes at 1pm today, EST, and I can’t wait to see this two legal geniuses in action again!! In fact, all FOUR of Trump’s lawyers are amazing.  I call them “The Fantastic Four.”

* TESTIMONY:  MY GRANDFATHER ON MY DAD’S SIDE WANTED TO ABORT ME (Reprinted from Facebook post of yesterday)….

I have a personal, as well as theological, reason for being against Abortion. According to my mom, my grandfather (on my DAD's side) gave her money to have ME aborted when he found out she was pregnant outside of wedlock. Obviously, she refused. And admittedly, before I became a Christian in 1975, there were times I wished my mom HAD terminated me....life was so difficult in my broken home, living with alcoholics.

After getting saved in '75 I've heard MANY times that aborted babies go straight to Heaven, and, when life gets rough I think about that....but I'm HAPPY TO GO TO HEAVEN "THE LONG WAY." Yes, this life can be a "Vale of Tears" but I thank GOD for the opportunity to know Him (however imperfectly), serve Him (however inconsistently), and REPRESENT Him (however dimly) in this evil world!! I thank Him for the privilege of MARRYING and HAVING CHILDREN (blessings that are ONLY for this life) and as I approach age 65 next month, hey, I'll be in Heaven by God's Grace soon enough ANYway. In this photo I'm next to The One who is helping me to GET to Heaven and, I trust, God is using ME in HER life to achieve the same purpose.

Abortion CHANGES THE WORLD and interferes with God's Plan, it keeps those who He wants to send here from COMING here. Look at all of the madness that has taken place in our country SINCE Roe vs. Wade. I wonder how many GOOD influences have been aborted since 1973, or even BEFORE then!! By the grace of God and the determination of my MOM, I, at least, am not one of those who were denied the Right to Life.

"Blog #350---Of Aborting Babies and Presidencies"

Yesterday, President Trump became the first sitting President to physically attend the "March For Life" annual anti-abortion rally, in Washington, D.C. 

This came as, elsewhere in our nation's capital, the Democrats, who strongly FAVOR abortion, were trying to remove him from office on trumped-up charges. The charges do not involve his stance against abortion, of course but the Democrats are bitter at his two Pro-Life Supreme Court appointments and have tried to make a case for his removal on OTHER (bogus) charges.  The irony could not be clearer...TRUMP is against aborting BABIES and the DEMS are trying to abort TRUMP before he gets elected to a second term in November. 

“We’re here for a very simple reason,” the president said to a crowd of tens of thousands of anti-abortion activists on the National Mall, “to defend the right of every child born and unborn to fulfill their God-given potential.”

“For 47 years Americans of all backgrounds have traveled across the country to stand for life,” Trump said. “And today as president of the United States I am truly proud to stand with you.”

“All of us here understand an eternal truth: Every child is a precious and sacred gift from God,” the president continued. “Together we must protect, cherish and defend the dignity and sanctity of every human life.”

He added: “Unborn children have never had a stronger defender in the White House.”

The Democrats accuse Trump of suddenly becoming Pro-Life to distract from his impeachment woes, but he RAN for President on being Pro-Life and has been consistent since he's been elected.  His commitment to Pro-Life causes clearly PRECEDES their bogus impeachment and no doubt is part of the reason they are so determined to TRY to oust him. And it's very unlikely that they can, based on the weak case their House Managers presented to the Senate (ending yesterday), as well as the fact that Republicans hold a decisive edge in the Senate where the vote will take place.

Today, TRUMP'S legal team began DEFENDING him in the Senate trial  as vigorously as he has defended the unborn, and millions of Pro-Life Americans are PRAYING that he'll survive this fiasco and get re-elected.  Though the outcome seems certain, I urge everyone who prays to do so without ceasing, asking God that Trump might stay in office not just through the end of his FIRST term, but all the way through a SECOND term, as well.

"The Senate Trial So Far: It's a TRIAL, All Right!!"

SO FAR the Senate trial has been painful to watch.  That's because, SO FAR it has only featured Democrats from the House still desperately attempting to create a case for removing President Trump from office.  Today is the last day of their arguments, but I don't expect anything new to come forth...they would have brought it out in the FIRST two days, if they had it. (In fact, what they've said in the first two days was "nothing new," EITHER.)

This is not to say I've watched every minute of their ramblings....who, besides newspeople who are PAID to watch it all, could or WOULD watch it all??  Who in their right mind would WANT to listen to Hakeem Jeffries ramble on and on, if they wanted to STAY in their right mind....unless it was their JOB to listen to the guy?  (Well, maybe stoned-out Dems who are not in their right minds ANYway.) But here are some things that have been reliably reported by those who HAVE seen all of this "Trial That IS a Trial (to watch)".......

     1.)  Adam Schiff (pictured above), one of the House Impeachment MISmanagers, actually spoke for 2 and 1/2 hours one day.  2 and 1/2 hours!!   I don't know if the most eloquent orator in the universe could hold my attention for more than an hour!  And from the clips I've seen, the guy is BORING.  He was boring in the HOUSE, why'd they make him an Impeachment MISmanager here in the SENATE??  Doesn't make sense.  If a guy is hitless and struck out constantly in the FIRST round of the playoffs, you replace him on your roster in the NEXT round, right??

Schiff constantly says Trump "wants to be a King" but a REAL King would never be brought to trial by THESE oafs.

     2.)  The Dems constantly claim they want to "call witnesses" as if this was a "real trial." They just don't get it that the Constitution gives the SENATE the power to govern this trial.  They HAD their chance, in the HOUSE, to call witnesses.  They blew it.  And if they want a "real trial," let the Dem Senators who are running for President RECUSE themselves from voting, because of Conflict of Interest.  After all, if Trump WERE removed it would help their 2020 Presidential prospects, would it not? You want a "real trial" with WITNESSES, let's have a "real trial" with RECUSALS.

    3.)  Reports are that even LIBERAL pundits are mad at Dem Senators for NODDING OFF during presentations by their colleagues. Who can BLAME them, though, from what I've seen? The most exciting part of this phase so far was when Jerry Nadler said that the Republican-led Senate would "cover up" for Trump, Trump's lawyer publicly SCOLDED Nadler, and Chief Justice Roberts rebuked EVERYONE.  (Unfortunately, those fireworks happened around midnight on the first night, and *I* was long asleep, Lol!!)

I do plan to watch the proceedings TOMORROW, though, when Trump's lawyers begin to tear the Dem's "case" to shreds.

And because it's SATURDAY, I may just have time to watch ALL or MOST of it.

Note: Since Monday, when I announced here that we'd be going to the Trump rally in Jersey next Tuesday, we've changed our minds.  That is NOT due to our Governor's POLITRICKS* (Lol, see Monday's blog), but it's because of something else.  We have learned that 100,000 of those tickets have been ordered...for a venue that only seats 7,400!! It's great that SO many New Jerseyans  want to support Trump during his trial, but the chances that we'd get in are VERY remote considering the fact that we live so far away and people line up for "first come, first served" seating at 5 am (doors don't open till 3 pm.)  In short, we don't want to stand outside in the cold for 8 hours, then risk having to stand outside for another 5 hours and watch Trump on a SCREEN. You see, the tickets we have only guarantee the POSSIBILITY of entry, not entry, itself.

So, Lord Willing, we'll watch the event on TV in the warmth of our home, and I'll wear my new Trump shirt THEN!!

"Harry and Meghan: What Are Their Real Motivations?"

WARNING: This blog is written by a hopeless Romantic.  It may or may not bear the slightest resemblance to Reality in certain sections.





Everyone, it seems, has an opinion as to why Harry and Meghan left the Royal Family recently.  I confess I have never had much interest in the Royal Family before, but when a couple leaves BILLIONS of dollars behind and gains world-wide attention like this, even *I* take notice!!  And, consequently  even *I* form an opinion as to what might be their real motivations....hence, this "Chetitorial."  (I confess at the outset that there may be a lot of IGNORANCE mixed in with my opinions, something which I usually do NOT feel is the case when I write these blogs...but here goes.)

Harry and Meghan: What ARE their real motivations?? I haven't delved into this issue enough to even know if they've STATED them (yet), but it really doesn't matter. Most of us will put little stock in what they SAY, but will rely on "actions, which speak louder than words."

And TIME will tell us what their WORDS probably WON'T.  Here are MY words now.

     What if...and I emphasize "if"...the Queen was secretly making Meghan feel not welcomed into the Royal Family because she's Mixed Race, or because she's American??

     And what IF Prince Harry, to show total devotion to his new bride, exited the Royal Family WITH her to PROTECT her?? 

     IF that's what's happening, it would be the greatest example of what Jesus meant when He said "a man must leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife" that I've ever seen. Harry's leaving / cleaving would be EXEMPLARY-BEYOND-MEASURE, especially when you consider the position and wealth he's forfeiting...IF that's why he's doing it.

On the other hand....

I've read that Meghan's estranged sister thinks she is USING Harry to boost her own Hollywood career for the future. This could certainly be true, no one knows Meghan's heart and unsaved sinners are capable of ANY evil, frankly. The world is full of those who, as Dylan sang, "increase their worth at someone else's expense." (However it could ALSO be true that this estranged sister is jealous and vindictive and out to HURT Meghan....ruin her reputation.  After all, when your sister marries a PRINCE, is it not possible that a BIT of jealousy and bitterness might enter in?? Of course it is.)

I will say this...IF Harry is being manipulated and USED by Meghan, I take back all of the good things I speculated about him.  He's a chump, plain and simple (IF Meghan's sister's theory is true.)

     IF Meghan is taking advantage of Harry's love to boost her OWN standing, she's a cunning, vile human being.

     IF she falsely accused the Royal Family of making her not feel welcome, using her acting skills to persuade Harry and turn him AGAINST them, she's also a liar.

     And IF she was trying to break up HARRY'S family because HERS is obviously in shambles, well, Meghan needs psychological help.  Fast.

Personally, though I'd hate to think the Royal Family would regard "Mixed Race Meghan the American" that way, and reject her because of that, I hope this is then an example of a man LEAVING position and wealth because he LOVES HIS WIFE THAT MUCH and wants to defend her  The world NEEDS examples of men who love their wives like that, with that type of wholehearted loyalty!!

"JETER: Definitely a Leader, Definitely NOT a Cheater"

DEREK JETER HAS BEEN ELECTED TO BASEBALL'S HALL OF FAME TONIGHT.

The only other one to get voted in was LARRY WALKER, and Jeter was named on all of the ballots except ONE.  He therefore failed to be voted in UNANIMOUSLY like teammate Mariano Rivera was a year ago, but still he got into the Hall EASILY and DESERVEDLY.

Jeter spent all 20 seasons of his career with the YANKEES and was our CAPTAIN through many of them. He led by classy example, and the Yanks won five World Series titles with him on the team.

His STATS were amazing but, even more important in light of MLB's recent cheating scandals, Jeter was NEVER accused of cheating in any way, never in trouble with the law and ALWAYS, it seems, a good example of sportsmanship DESPITE having a burning drive to win and to excel.  He proves that you can gain your goal without losing your soul.

THEY SAY THE HALL OF FAME SHOULD BE ABOUT STATISTICAL ACHIEVEMENTS, NOT ABOUT CHARACTER and I agree with that.

But every once in awhile, a guy like DEREK JETER comes along and gives us BOTH!!

"Honor Dr. King For The Content of His Character"

It will take awhile until this blog gets around to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose birthday is celebrated today, but please bear with me.  I promise you we WILL get there if you read to the end!

Okay, here we go.  President Trump is going to have a rally in Wildwood, NJ...about an hour-and-a-half from me...on the 28th of this month.  As you can see from the photo above, I already have two General Admission tickets for us (my wife and me) to hopefully see him.  If it happens, Trump will be the FIFTH American President I'll have seen "Live" (Kennedy, Newark NJ in 1960, Reagan, Bloomfield NJ in 1985, Bush 41 in Bloomfield, 1989, and Bush 43*, in Madison, NJ in 2000 were the other four.)

But, on top of SCHEDULING problems (work) and potential WEATHER problems (January weather), there's now ANOTHER problem which may hinder us.

Our Democrat Governor, Phil Murphy, is deliberately, spitefully having work done on THE MAIN ROAD LEADING INTO THE SHORE TOWN WHERE THE RALLY IS BEING HELD.  That work starts TODAY, and it will be a huge inconvenience to the 20,000 expected at Trump's rally.  It's a LITERAL "roadblock," Lol!! I really, really want to see the President and SHOW MY SUPPORT FOR HIM during his Impeachment Trial (which begins tomorrow, in the Senate.) However, this sudden, childish ploy by the Governor makes it much, much harder to get to the site of the rally. "WHERE THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY" and I believe most Trump supporters will STILL show up, en masse, to support the President at this event.

However, what concerns me is the actions of GOVERNOR MURPHY, who was upset with our PREVIOUS Governor, Chris Christie, for something called "Bridge-gate." Christie, a Republican, misused HIS power to create traffic problems for HIS political opponents.  I condemned this at the time and so did MURPHY, but now he's doing the very same thing CHRISTIE did. 

"TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT."  When you REPLICATE the sin of another you VALIDATE it and you lose your moral authority, your credibility, your integrity as you do. And that brings me around, finally, to Dr. King (by the way, my son ROB did the amazing artwork below.)

King preached non-violence and did NOT believe in retaliation. He believed in JUSTICE, yes, but to do to others as they've done to you is not Justice, it's REVENGE, pure and simple.  Jesus, let it be remembered, said do unto others AS you'd have done to you, and King followed that principle. And today, Democrats like the vindictive Gov. Murphy will be lining up to honor Dr. King NOT for "the content of his character," which is what he famously desired...but for "the color of his skin," which is what he DETESTED. For that matter, many vengeful REPUBLICANS will be hypocritically honoring King today, ALSO.  It has to stop. Honor him honestly, not hypocritically.

Some will disagree with me, but Martin Luther King Jr. was a great man** and we all, MYSELF INCLUDED, need to follow his example of non-retaliation in matters great and small.  For Governor Murphy, there is still time to delay that road work till AFTER the Trump rally.  I believe that's what KING would do, and that's why we honor his memory today.

* We saw Bush 3 days before the 2000 election and Bush wasn't declared PRESIDENT until that DECEMBER, but I still count him in this group.

** Dr. King was a GREAT man but not a PERFECT man...he was guilty of adultery. There is a CONTEXT to my admiration for his "Content of Character" speech, it refers strictly to his non-retaliation emphases. I certainly do not think that cheating on one's wife shows good Character.

"Democrats: The Party of Abortion"

The Democrat Party IS the Party of Abortion, there's no two ways about it. 

Oh, they whine when TERRORISTS get killed (unless, of course, it was when OBAMA killed OSAMA.) 

They bellyache when children ACCIDENTALLY get killed in missile attacks (but they deliberately support murdering AMERICAN kids in the womb.) 

They're always concerned about saving WHALES but they won't give a second thought to destroying a BABY, (godless hypocrites that they are!!)

Barack Hussein Obama, the last Democratic President, began HIS Presidency by saying he "wouldn't want his daughters punished by an unwanted pregnancy" and he IS the face of the Democratic Party these days.  Bill and Hillary do NOT lead the sinking ship anymore, here in 2020.  Joe Biden (pictured above), Obama's Veep for 8 years, is proof of the hold Obama still has on the Party.  For that matter, so is "Mayor Pete," (second from left), who is openly "married" to another MAN, because, in his second term, Obama openly supported Same-Sex "Marriage."

The fact that both of these guys are still in a "race" where over 20 candidates started out, and both REEK of Obama's influence, tells you HE (Obama) is running this pathetic "show."

If you're a Democrat please DON'T try to convince yourself you are "Pro-Life" when you KNOW you will vote for one of these inhuman "people." And stop kidding yourself about why you want "open borders." It's NOT because you're so compassionate...if you were compassionate, you wouldn't endorse killing children!! You want "open borders" to potentially replace all of the would-be DEMOCRATS you're either killed in the womb or, because you support same-sex "marriage," you need to replenish the ones that can never even be conceived.

"A Blog Condemning ABUSIVE Hunting"

This is not a blog condemning ALL hunting.  It's a blog against what I call ABUSIVE hunting, guys who hunt while drunk, who just like to kill but don't eat what they shoot, who shoot animals out-of-season, illegally or just to try out a new rifle.  I saw a LOT of men like this when I was a kid and though I don't condemn ALL hunters for that, the memories of what I saw when my dad took me keep ME from hunting (AND from drinking, Lol!!)  Again, I know Christian men who hunt now and they are NOT like this.....I have no gripe with them. 

The blog is done in POETIC form and the poems constantly change rhythms to emphasize how unsettled I get even THINKING about these abuses.  But, unsettling as it is, I had to get these thoughts "out."

"Boston Red Sox Need to Fire Cora IMMEDIATELY"

THE BOSTON RED SOX NEED TO FIRE MANAGER ALEX CORA..........IMMEDIATELY.

The Sign-Stealing Scandal that Cora is at the center of, starting when he coached in Houston (2017) and now, apparently, since he's managed BOSTON  (beginning in 2018) have already caused the ASTROS manager to be fired.  Major League Baseball's report says Cora "was involved in developing both the banging scheme and utilizing the replay review room to decode and transmit signs." This refers to an elaborate system of using tons of technology and then having players bang on a trash can with a bat to let hitters know what pitch was coming, and give them an edge.  For a better understanding of it all, read this link...

Both of those teams Cora was and is involved with, the 2017 Astros and the 2018 Red Sox, cheated and won the World Series, defrauding and defeating the DODGERS both times. I'm no Dodger fan, I'm a YANKEE fan, but the way the Astros and Red Sox did them wrong is DESPICABLE and CORA is the Common Denominator.  

Both of those World Series Titles and every player on both teams are TAINTED (yes, that includes Altuve and Mookie, who BENEFITED from the cheating), because of an elaborate, illegal sign-stealing system that CORA invented. Why are the Red Sox WAITING to fire CORA, then? But they are...they're waiting to see what Major League Baseball will do to him. THEY SHOULD NOT WAIT, THERE IS NO REASON TO.

In a perfect world, every player who consciously, knowingly participated in the cheating should be fired ALSO (yes, that includes Mookie and Altuve.) But just like when a team plays poorly the MANAGER gets canned (because "you can't fire the whole team, so you fire the manager"), CORA should be canned.  The Red Sox brass may be waiting to see if Cora will be banned (by MLB) so they DON'T have to fire him, but that's a cowardly way out. He needs to be CANNED, no reason to wait and see if he'll be BANNED. 

Then again, I should EXPECT a cowardly cop-out from an organization that blamed their 86-year inability to win a World Series on "The Curse of The Bambino," eh??

The New York Post reports this morning that a 21 year old raped a 92 year old then left her to die.  His excuse for the rape?? HE FELL ON HER.  Here's the article...

What's his ridiculous excuse for not at least CALLING THE POLICE??

ONLY IN NEW YORK could this savage have a CHANCE to get away with murder because his skin color immediately makes HIM a "victim" in the eyes of white Liberals.  And even though, if you read the link, his victim, Maria Fuertes, apparently was ALSO a person of color, well, she is not PICTURED.  (White Liberals respond IMMEDIATELY and FAVORABLY to pics of sad-eyed minority kids, and line up to make excuses FOR them.  I wish the Post would show a photo of the 92 year old victim next to this photo of the perp.)

But, at least they had the guts to REPORT the story!! Not every New York paper WILL.

As for whatever lawyer is "DEFENDING" this miscreant, well, I understand a lawyer HAS to offer the best possible "defense" for his client and, in Liberal New York, this stupid "defense" IS his client's best shot at acquittal.

What I do NOT understand is why a lawyer would not just REFUSE this case, in the first place.

"Buck Henry, Co-Creator of 'Get Smart,' Dies"

Sad news. The co-creator and frequent scripter of GET SMART, Buck Henry, has died.

Even though the final episode of "Get Smart" aired 50 years ago, it still remains my all-time favorite sitcom.  It was funny and it was CLEAN.

Buck Henry also acted in one of my all-time favorite MOVIES, "Grumpy Old Men" (1993.) That movie was funny but NOT so clean, "language" wise.

Mel Brooks was the OTHER co-creator of "Get Smart" and he is still alive. Don Adams ("Max") died several years ago but Barbara Feldon ("Agent 99") is still alive.

"A Division That Is BIBLICAL"

In case you haven't heard, the "United Methodist Church" is now officially split over the issue of performing Gay "marriages" and allowing Gay CLERGY.  Now, I am NOT a Methodist, never was or will be, but this interests me greatly and I'll say why in a moment.

In Scripture, it is clear that, generally speaking, GOD LOVES UNITY....amongst His people.  But those who are openly loving and embracing sin are NOT His people, at least they are not ACTING like His people.  True Christians are under no obligation to be united with such as these.  In fact, the Bible asks "What fellowship does light have with darkness?"  It urges us to "Come out from among them, be separate and I will welcome you" and warns that "Bad companions corrupt good morals."  We must remember that SICKNESS is contagious but health is NOT...to stay "united" with those "Christians" who are clearly in sin like this only brings US down.  It doesn't help THEM.

On the other hand, Scripture teaches that SEPARATING from those who name His Name yet live in sin MAY do them good...it may be used to God to help them evaluate where they are at!!

The "United Methodist Church" is now DIVIDED.

However, to stand for truth against sin is a great reason to BE divided!! "Unity in the dark" is only for the blind leading the blind....KUDOS to those who are divided against the darkness!! Been there, done that, over this very issue 17 years ago.

I left it at that with the "17 years ago" on Facebook yesterday, but today, in my BLOG, I wish to elaborate.

Yes, 17 years ago, I was part of a Christian denomination that was Biblically SOUND...but our GODLY pastor had a heart attack and was replaced by a "pastor" who was secretly "pro-gay" (though he HIMSELF is straight.)  See, in 2003 I happened across a piece in the paper where this "pastor" of ours participated in a pro-gay statement put out by the local, liberal Clergy group. My wife and I tried to peacefully, privately urge him to print a retraction (he lied and said they included his name in the statement by accident), but he would not budge.  Long story short, I LEFT the church as quietly as I could but the "pastor" did a "Captain Ahab," he pursued me, "The Great White Whale," and excommunicated me on trumped up charges.  

Within the next two years I was vindicated, the church folded, the "pastor" went to ANOTHER church and he was fired for stealing. He fled from New Jersey to the Midwest and now "pastors" in yet ANOTHER denomination.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that this "pastor" totally supports the wing of the Methodist church that WANTS to perform Gay "marriages" and ordain Gay clergy.  But as for me, I side with the group that has SPLIT.

Yes, the "United Methodist Church" is now DIVIDED...but it's a Division that is BIBLICAL.

"Beth Moore Needs to Be Removed From HER Position"

Evangelist BETH MOORE (above) recently sided with the "Christianity Today" article calling for President Trump's removal from office. On December 21st, I used this blog to expose the Editor-in-Chief, Mark Galli (who has now retired, by the way) of that mag and this morning I am calling for BETH MOORE to either retire or be removed from HER position. I'll give my reason in a moment.

First, I want to say that although the Scriptures are clear that women should not preach to men, and Moore apparently DOES that, that has NOTHING to do with why I think she needs to step down.

In other words, believe it or don't, the fact that she should've never been IN the position she's in is NOT why I think she is disqualified and should be OUT of that position.

Having stated what my reason is NOT, now let me state what it IS (Lol).

You see, my reason Beth Moore needs to go is all about her siding with Mark Galli, her Tweet that "Evangelicalism as we know it died in 2016" (the year of Trump's election) AND because of her recent compromise of siding with the LGBTQs.

I never knew who Beth Moore WAS until she recently attacked Trump (AND, by implication, all Christians like myself who SUPPORT Trump.)  But since she attacked Trump and me, I've been researching Beth and here's what I found....she supports LGBTQs!! (Click photo to enlarge)

Beth Moore needs to get the beam out of HER eye before she seeks to pick the SPECKS out of TRUMP'S and TRUMP SUPPORTERS' eyes.  For her to suggest that Trump's election and our support for him weakens Christ's testimony while she is embracing the LGBTQs is total hypocrisy.

And I never would have said this, I never would have even known or CARED who Beth Moore is if she didn't attack TRUMP and ME.  The lesson??

I say again, Beth Moore needs to be removed from HER position.

Some may argue that her embrace of the LGBTQs shows NAIVETY on Beth's part, and THAT'S the reason God doesn't want women to preach to men.  Without getting into THAT issue now, let me just say that it's not the issue HERE because there are MALE preachers who are deceived by the LGBTQs, as well. (Let's be fair.)

But I've said this before and I'll say it again...men are inherently VISUAL, and what honest, normal Christian guy can honestly tell me he could stare at Beth Moore (or ANY woman, for that matter) for 30-45 minutes week after week while she preaches and NOT be tempted, distracted repeatedly, with lustful thoughts?? Maybe THAT is a reason why God in His Wisdom has said that women shouldn't preach to men, AS WELL AS the reason given in Scripture. Just a thought.

And if Beth thinks Christianity was damaged by TRUMP'S election in 2016 but she can't see how OBAMA hurt us in the PREVIOUS eight years, well, she IS naive!!

Anyway, I digress.  I have learned a LOT about Beth Moore since she attacked Trump and his supporters, and in my Credibility Check of her I've learned that she's 62.  And so I want to close with this thought.

62 is a good retirement age, Beth!!

"Don Larsen"

Last week, I wrote about the death of radio shock jock Don IMUS (see two blogs back.) Today, it is former baseball player Don LARSEN that I'm sad to say has passed away, at age 90.  In between those two posts, we have entered a new year, but the fact that both men had the same first name seems to remind me of how death is CONSTANT in this world. The fact that we're in a new year and new DECADE won't stop death from happening.

Don Larsen played for MANY teams, he even played for my San Francisco Giants, my FIRST team, in the early '60s when I was a young boy just getting into baseball.  But Don achieved fame with the New York YANKEES because he pitched a Perfect Game in the 1956 World Series....only pitcher in baseball history to accomplish that feat. He died after a battle with cancer.

Here's what I wrote on my Facebook page a little while ago...

Don Larsen, the only pitcher in baseball history to throw a Perfect Game in the World Series, has died at age 90. The late Yogi Berra, who was his CATCHER that day (and was known for saying things that don't make sense when you think about them), once remarked that "That was the best game Larsen ever pitched," Lol!! All kidding aside, I hope Don was SAVED because our temporal and temporary accomplishments don't cover our sins when we die...only the Blood of Christ can!!
